Ignite Potential at Thrive: Thermalito’s Expanded Learning Program

At Thermalito’s Thrive program, we believe the end of the school day is just the beginning of discovery. Our daily after-school environment is more than just care—it is a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space where students are empowered to unlock their full potential.

Through hands-on learning and collaborative play, we help students develop the critical academic and social-emotional skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. We are proud to foster deep connections between our students and the wider Thermalito community.

Program Details & Accessibility:

​

• Who We Serve: Open to all TK–8th grade students across five district campuses: Nelson Avenue Middle, Poplar Avenue, Sierra Avenue, Plumas Avenue, and Siskiyou Avenue Elementary schools.

• Daily Support: We operate on all regular school instructional days, beginning immediately after afternoon dismissal and staying open until 6:00 PM (with dedicated early-start options on Wednesdays).

• Year-Round Growth: Beyond the school year, we offer full-day programming (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) during seasonal intersessions, as well as an exciting Summer session for those enrolled in Thermalito’s Summer School program.
