LEARNING IS FUN
"Play is our brain's favourite way of learning."
—Diane Ackerman
Learning doesn't have to be boring; it can be a fun adventure!
Imagine discovering dinosaurs while building a cool model or exploring math through games and challenges. Learning new things can be exciting, just like finding a treasure map or solving a puzzle. Engaging in games and activities makes learning more enjoyable.
Think of rhyming games, building with blocks,
or even playing hide-and-seek to learn about shapes!
AFTER SCHOOL LEARNING PROGRAM
More Fun after School
The Thermalito Union Elementary School District (TUESD) partners with the Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) to provide daily after-school programs to students at Nelson Avenue, Plumas Avenue, Poplar Avenue, Sierra Avenue, and Siskiyou Avenue (grades TK-8). The program starts when the final school bell rings and remains open until approximately 6:00 PM. Please note that this includes minimum days.
The program is open every day that school is in session. Students receive homework assistance and participate in a variety of engaging enrichment activities. Enrollment applications are available in the school office or by contacting the appropriate Site Coordinator.
You can also find more information on the
