Superintendent's Message
Dear Thermalito Community,
As we stand on the threshold of a new school year, I am filled with a profound sense of anticipation and excitement. Our district has always been a place where students, educators, and families come together with a shared vision: to foster a nurturing environment that inspires learning and growth.
This year, we are thrilled to announce the building of several exciting new facilities designed to enhance our educational experience. Our five state-of-the-art Transitional Kindergarten classrooms are nearly complete and we’ve broken ground on our new school facility on 4th Street. These new grant-funded spaces are not just buildings; they represent our commitment to providing an environment where innovation, creativity, and physical wellness can flourish.
In addition to these new facilities, we are aimed at enriching our educational programs and supporting our students' diverse needs. A focus on Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with new intervention programs and extracurricular opportunities, we are dedicated to providing a dynamic and engaging learning experience for every student.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff, whose commitment drives the success of our schools. Their passion and innovation are truly the heart of our district, and their efforts ensure that our students receive a high quality education.
To our families, your support is invaluable. Your involvement in your children’s education strengthens our community and enriches the learning experience. I encourage you to stay engaged, participate in school events, and maintain open communication with our educators.
To our students, I hope you are as excited about the upcoming year as we are. Embrace every opportunity to explore our new facilities, challenge yourselves, and support one another. Your potential is boundless, and we are here to help you reach it.
Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve established and strive for excellence in all that we do. Let’s make this year a remarkable one, filled with achievement, growth, and success.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our school community.
Warm regards,
Greg
